The American Field Service, a nonprofit volunteer–based program, is offering scholarships to community–oriented students who are looking to travel abroad.
AFS is offering World Citizen Scholarships for students who are between 18 and 24, have service experience in their own communities and demonstrate financial need. The scholarships range from $500 to $1,500 based on need and the program chosen.
There are more than 25 different programs available for students in diverse places such as Thailand, Brazil, and the United Kingdom. These programs vary in length and commitment.
