Union Street road closures
Three weekends of our annual festive closures leading up
to Christmas. Each weekend, Union Street from Bridge Street
to Back Wynd, and Belmont Street will be closed throughout
the period 6.00am Saturday to 8.00pm Sunday.
Our ever popular Road Train will be launched, kindly sponsored
by The Mall Trinity Shopping Centre. It will run every weekend
leading up to Christmas. Hop aboard the Road Train outside
the Mall Trinity and travel free along Union Street, Broad
Street to Queen Street and return.
There will also be a 2 day Christmas Market on Belmont Street
and Union Street running from 9.00am to 5.

AITKIN's world famous Fish House Parade, featured in USA Today, will be held Nov. 28, at 1 p.m. through the streets of downtown Aitkin. This annual parade includes crazy floats, decorated fish houses, and celebrity guests. Other activities include a chili cook off, holiday craft show, a variety of foods, visits with a celebrity grand marshal, and other events throughout the day.
