"The soft focus hideaway skirts the feet of Sierra Madre's lush tropical
jungles, the sky reflecting Mother Nature's deepest hues, and placid waters caress its
shores. A magic atmosphere creates a yearning to be wrapped in its ambiance, like a sensuous

cobblestone streets, is a natural for romantics.
The Spanish Captain Don Alvarado disembarked his troops in 1541on the
shore of what would become Puerto Vallarta. They found fresh, drinkable water, delicious
wild fruits, great bird and deer hunting and abundant fishing."
